Beatrice Sidari – Physiotherapist

Growing up and graduating in Switzerland with a Diploma in Physiotherapy, I continued studying to complete a 2-year postgraduate course in musculoskeletal injuries to qualify as an orthopaedic manipulative therapist (OMT) in the Nordic system. It has taught me very good assessment and treatment skills.

With the intention to work overseas for 2-3 years, working for Trish Wisbey-Roth in Sydney from 1998 till 2002, was my biggest dream come true. I stayed in Australia, continued working part-time and with a family of 3 kids I have truly settled in Down Under.

I see it as a privilege to work at Take Control Active Rehab where I enjoy the high-quality standard, friendly staff and the variety of patients.

My special areas of interest are:

• Musculoskeletal injuries
• Headache and Migraine, trained and still studying at the Watson Headache Institute on how to assess and treat Migraines, menstrual Migraines and Headaches with upper neck involvement
• The dancing athlete, Pre Pointe-assessments
• Feet and lower limb injuries, as I have worked in close consultation with podiatrists
• Musculoskeletal and sport/overload injuries in children and the adolescent
